In 2021, Ukraine's agricultural sector played a significant role in the global food market, capable of supporting approximately 400 million people, according to Roman Leshchenko, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food. The country's strategic goal is to provide food for one billion people by 2030. Despite facing challenges, Ukraine's agriculture sector experienced remarkable growth, with a 14.4% increase in production and a 19.2% rise in production at agricultural enterprises. It became the largest contributor to Ukraine's GDP, exceeding 10%, and the largest source of the country's exports, accounting for around 41% per year.
