Spanish olive oil sales mark their highest figure in November

The National Association of Edible Oil Packaging and Refining Industries (Anierac) has released its sales figures for this past year. The results are positive for the companies that comprise it, highlighting the month of November for being the most successful. During this month, almost 65 million liters of oil were placed on the market, the highest monthly figure this year, of which 28.5 correspond to olive oil in all its categories, 1.61 to olive oil. pomace oil and 34.7 million liters with vegetable oils. Also in this month the extra virgin olive oil reaches 12.4 million liters and the mild 9.8 liters. As usual, virgin olive oil and intense olive oil present more distant figures, specifically 2.1 and 4.1 million liters, respectively. As a whole, the olive oil accumulated during these first 11 months of 2021 amounts to 285.1 million liters, 11% less than last year in this same period of time.
