Peru is among the world's top suppliers of passion fruit and exotic fruits

Thanks to the quality of Peruvian passion fruit and other exotic fruits, in 2023 the South American country was ranked 10th as a global supplier of these products and in third place in Latin America and the Caribbean. The information was released by the manager of Agroexports of the Association of Exporters (ADEX), Claudia Solano, who explained that passion fruit was the most popular exotic fruit abroad. “Last year, our shipments to the world amounted to US$ 66 million 932 thousand, showing an increase of 11% compared to 2022 (US$ 60 million 473 thousand).
