A report from the Head Office of the State Production and Consumer Service in Ukraine's Odesa region has identified dangerous levels of aflatoxins in a shipment of walnuts from Transilvania Nuts S.R.L. that was transported through Romania and was on its way to Germany via wholesaler Bäko Zentrale Nord eG. Aflatoxins, especially B1, are toxic substances that can cause liver damage and primary liver cancer. Trade operators have been advised to report any detection of this shipment. The article also touches on the potential transfer of border inspection posts to the Cabinet and the ongoing expansion of agricultural cooperation between China and Ukraine.
