The daily price of potatoes has seen a downward trend since November 2021, only to stabilize in February and March 2022. Conversely, retail prices in supermarkets in the Metropolitan region have surged by 6% from February 2022, with a marginal year-over-year increase of 1.1%. On the other hand, prices at fairs experienced a slight decrease of 3.6% in March 2022 but still showed a 10% year-over-year increase. The Potato Bulletin also notes variations in consumer prices across different regions, providing a detailed analysis of the potato market trend over the specified period.
