Jalisco has seen a decrease in the prices of nine products, including tomatoes, fresh chilis, and chicken, as part of the Package Against Inflation and Scarcity (PACIC). However, the prices of 14 products, such as oranges, pork, potatoes, and apples, have increased. Jalisco's price increase ranked 21st in the country and was below the national average. The PACIC is a federal program aimed at stabilizing the prices of products in the basic basket, using the weights of all products in the National Consumer Price Index.
