Governor Ali Fidan oversaw the harvest and highlighted the importance of agriculture to the city, with 20,000 farmer families reliant on it. Nevşehír leads in the production of beans, must grapes, and is in the top 5 for dried grapes in Turkey. The city's pumpkin seeds have been registered as a geographically indicated product since 2019.
