South Korea: Radish and cabbage shipments likely to increase YoY

[Reporter Kim Gwan-tae, Korea Rural Newspaper] As the spring cabbage harvest is good and the area for resale of spring radishes increases, shipments of cabbage and radishes this month are expected to increase compared to the previous year. The production of garlic and mid-late onion production in 2023 is also higher than last year, but is expected to decrease compared to the average year. The Agricultural Observation Center of the Korea Rural Economic Institute announced a monthly report on leaf root vegetables and seasoned vegetables on the 1st and presented this month's supply and demand outlook for major vegetables.
