Rapeseed, safflower, and sunflower: How are things with vegetable oil in Kazakhstan?

In January-May of this year, Kazakhstan produced 280.8 thousand tons of refined and unrefined vegetable oil, which is 15.5% more than a year earlier. Including the output of refined oil decreased by 14.7% over the year, to 60.8 thousand tons, the production of unrefined oil, on the contrary, increased by 28%, to 220 thousand tons. In the regional context, the largest production volumes fell on the East Kazakhstan region: 26.6 thousand tons of refined and 73.7 thousand tons of unrefined oil. In terms of the production of crude oil, the second and third lines are occupied by the Abay region and Almaty, and by the production of refined oil - Almaty and Shymkent.
