Price of fennel increases at a record in Ukraine

The price of fennel in Ukraine has risen at a record pace. From February 14, 2022, in supermarkets, fennel was sold for UAH 47.89 per 250 grams, which in PLN is 6.71 PLN. Two days later, on February 16, the price increased by another 13 UAH, 1.82 zlotys. Comparing prices with those in January, the average increase is 22.6%. Summing up, since February 16, dill has been sold for a record amount on the wholesale market of UAH 78 / kg - 10.93 PLN / kg, and on the capital market for an average price of UAH 83 / kg - PLN 11.63 / kg. What about other vegetables? The root vegetable market is also seeing an increase in prices, mainly for carrots and beets.
