Hadong-gun, a location in Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea, has recommenced exports of green tea true mullet, a product that had been paused since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative is part of a larger strategy to invigorate seafood distribution both domestically and internationally. The local government plans to host the 'Hadong Green Tea True Mullet On-Off Overseas Promotion Event' in Vancouver and Seattle to boost overseas sales. Additionally, Hadong-gun will utilize local media and introduce new recipes to expand the product's sales network and increase its marketability. The exports will occur from November to March of each year, with the first shipment made on the 27th of the previous month. The region also aims to target the metropolitan market through delivery apps and plans to use Jung Dong-won, a popular singer and Hadong-gun's public relations ambassador, for marketing promotions.
