Teams from the Erzincan Municipality Directorate of Public Works conducted inspections on bakeries and establishments producing bakery products. According to a statement from the municipality, within the scope of ongoing efforts to ensure citizens have access to healthy and reliable food, 77 businesses operating within the municipal boundaries that produce tandoor bread, simit, and bread were checked. During the inspections, it was determined that 1 establishment had a weight deficiency, and penal action was taken against it, while the confiscated simit was reported to have been sent to nursing homes and care homes. - ERZINCAN
