Ukraine forecasts 1.55 million tons of sugar production in 2024/25

The total production of sugar in Ukraine in the 2024/25 season will be about 1.55 million tons. Taras Vysotskyi, Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, announced this forecast. According to him, taking into account the transitional balances, the volume of sugar supply in Ukraine will more than double the needs of the domestic market, which are estimated at 0.95 million tons.
