The region sold food products to over 20 countries, including Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and China. The main enterprises driving foreign economic activity include PJSC Bel Shostka Ukraine and the Burinsky Dairy Plant. The region expanded its export markets in 2020 to include the USA, Armenia, Poland, and South Africa.
