The article highlights the current status of Ukraine's pork export markets, with a focus on its negotiations with various countries to export pork products despite the African swine fever outbreak. Konstantin Paskovic, the head of the domestic and international liaison office of the Ukrainian Food Safety and Consumer Protection Agency, provided an update on these negotiations at a meeting with the 'Ukrainian Pig Association'. He mentioned ongoing discussions with Uzbekistan, South Africa, Vietnam, China, and Singapore for pork exports, at different stages of requirement review and evaluation. However, ongoing outbreaks of African swine fever in Ukraine have led to halts in negotiations with South Korea, China, and four other countries.
