A South Korean delegation visited Bulgaria to evaluate the country's export of alfalfa, following Bulgaria's approval to enter the South Korean market. The delegation assessed Bulgaria's official feed control system and the self-control quality and hygiene of companies seeking to export alfalfa. The Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency of South Korea is set to prepare a report detailing the findings and the certificate model for the export. This follows a 2021 remote audit, the first of its kind, for the export of additional Bulgarian dairy products to South Korea.
