Ukrainian farms are increasing their direct exports of millet, legumes, corn, and other crops, requiring international quality protocols from foreign buyers. According to Sergei Salnikov from the Plant Health Institute, laboratories accredited to DSTU ISO / IEC 17025 standards, such as the "Institute of Plant Health", are responsible for confirming quality indicators and safety standards like pesticide residues, mycotoxins, and heavy metals. The institute also conducts quality and safety testing at Ukrainian prices. The article highlights the trend of farms growing products directly to order for international companies, with the quality and safety of the products being a key factor in fulfilling contracts. The Institute of Plant Health conducts all necessary quality and safety studies for these exports.
