Aragón's winter cereal production has resulted in a harvest of 2.82 million tons, one of the best in the past eight years but with a 9% decrease from the historic 2020 campaign. The weather has been beneficial for the crops, and there has been a shift towards growing more soft and hard wheat due to its profitability. Oats, known for their resilience, have also been a profitable alternative for Aragón's dry land. These findings were highlighted in the second Crop Dossier of the 2020/2021 Winter Cereal by Red Arax, based on data from 8,175 test plots distributed throughout the region.
