Due to lower tomato supply, wholesale prices continue to rise in Brazil

For another week, tomato prices rose in all wholesales followed by Hortifruti/Cepea. According to collaborators, the reason is still associated with the decrease in supply, a direct reflection of the completion of harvests in some production areas in the winter season. In addition, with the rainy weather persisting in some regions throughout this week, the harvest was slightly impaired, which also contributed to the lower quantity of the product in the markets.
