Avocado production in Turkey has tripled over the past five years - up to 18 thousand tons. The export of avocados for the specified period increased 17 times. As reported by the Anadolu agency with reference to the Institute of Statistics of Turkey (TÜİK), the volume of production of this tropical fruit in 2020 increased by 40.5% compared to the previous year, amounting to 5,917 tons.
