In the first half of 2021, Ukraine saw a significant increase in pork exports, with a 61% rise compared to the same period last year, totaling 2.25 thousand tons. This surge led to a nearly $1 million increase in revenue, reaching $4.5 million. The main export product, frozen pork brisket, made up 45% of the total exports, a decrease from 70% the previous year. The expansion in pork exports also included an increase in diversity and volume to various countries, with the UAE continuing as the main market and notable growth in exports to Hong Kong, Angola, and Georgia.
