A meeting to discuss the current state of the meat and meat product market in Ukraine was held, focusing on both pre-war and post-war sales dynamics, market trends, and challenges. Despite the difficult conditions, Ukraine's meat consumption needs are met, with a positive export balance and a shift towards poultry meat consumption. The processing industry is adjusting by increasing its share of finished poultry products, with a goal to satisfy the domestic market, keep products affordable, and expand into foreign markets. The extension of credit programs and state guarantees for the processing industry for the next year was also discussed and supported.
