Ukraine imported the least amount of pork in six years

In the period from January to June, Ukraine imported about 5.7 thousand tons of chilled, fresh and frozen pork, which is 5.5 times less than last year. This was reported in the "Swine Farmers of Ukraine" association. "Last year, there were many incentives for the revival of import activity: at the beginning of the year, there was a discrepancy between domestic and European quotations for pork, and in the second quarter, tax benefits for certain groups of importers.
