In 2020, Ukraine experienced a 28% increase in chocolate imports, totaling 43 thousand tons, worth $ 189.1 million, up from $ 150.5 million in 9.7% decrease in chocolate exports. The main importers of Ukrainian chocolate were Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Romania, with the majority imported from Poland, the Netherlands, and Germany. However, imports of cocoa products decreased by 2.5%. Additionally, Ukraine saw a significant increase in coffee imports, with an 8.4% rise to 48.4 thousand tons, valued at $ 166.4 million, a 15.4% increase from the previous year. The largest countries exporting coffee to Ukraine were Poland, Italy, and Germany.
