In 2018, Ukraine's agricultural and food exports to Iran reached USD 421 million, contributing to a total trade turnover of USD 437.5 million. According to the State Statistics Service, the trade trend continued in the first nine months of 2019, with Ukraine's exports to Iran bringing in USD 157.65 million and imports from Iran amounting to USD 35.13 million. The main exports from Ukraine to Iran included corn, sunflower oil, whole poultry eggs, and other products, while the main imports from Iran were sesame oil and other vegetable oils.
