The article reports on the 2022 soybean harvest in Ukraine, showing an 8% increase to 3.8 M tons compared to the previous year. Despite a decrease in productivity, the expansion of the planting area has contributed to this growth. The first half of the 2022/23 season saw a surge in soybean exports, reaching 1,945 thousand tons and marking the second largest total on record. Soybean oil and meal exports also saw an increase during the same period. With oilseeds becoming more profitable, it is anticipated that the planted area will expand, and UkrAgroConsult predicts a 10% rise in the soybean harvest for the next year.
