Natural selection and breeding made Ukrainian varieties of walnut almost the most winter-hardy in the world. This opinion was expressed by Vladyslav Bigun, the owner of the nursery "Leznevski saplings" from the Khmelnytskyi region, in the article of the magazine "Gardening in Ukrainian".
