The National Academy of Agrarian Sciences in Ukraine has developed over 100 modern technologies and recipes for high biological value health products based on natural, environmentally friendly components like local fruit, berries, and medicinal plant raw materials. The Institute has also proposed the production of various alcoholic beverages, including sparkling apple and white semi-dry wines, and fruit wines. However, these products cannot be called wines in countries with civilized legislation. Honey-based beverages are also produced in Ukraine, with one product receiving gold at the All-Ukrainian tasting of the Ukrvinprom Professional Choice Awards 2020. The production of these beverages creates employment opportunities and generates revenue for the state.
