Russia: 35 districts of Bashkortostan are harvesting early oilseeds

The main sunflower harvest 2023 is still ahead. Bashkir farmers from 35 districts are busy harvesting early oilseeds - rapeseed, mustard, flax and others. As of August 30, almost 40 thousand hectares of them were threshed, or more than 10% of the total volume. The oilseed harvest amounted to 33 thousand tons. The most active crops being harvested today are rapeseed and mustard. By August 30, 16.5 thousand hectares of rapeseed had been threshed, 17.8 thousand tons of oilseeds had been collected, with a yield of 10.8 c/ha. 15.2 thousand hectares of mustard were threshed, more than 10 thousand tons of oil seeds were collected.
