Vice President Geraldo Alckmin, who is the Minister of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services, assessed the official visit to Mexico, which concluded this Thursday (28) in Mexico City, the country's capital, as positive. The final commitment and highlight of the trip was a meeting with the Mexican president, Claudia Sheinbaum, at the National Palace. "I invited President Claudia to the COP30 in Belém in November. We talked about multilateralism, strengthening democracy, inclusion, and combating hunger. So, it was a very productive conversation," Alckmin highlighted in a press conference shortly before boarding back to Brasília. Brazil and Mexico are the two largest economies in Latin America and have a trade flow that amounts to US$ 13.6 billion in 2024.
