Peruvian agricultural products have greater potential in the United Kingdom

Peruvian agricultural exports (traditional and non-traditional) to the United Kingdom had a good performance – they closed with a 6% increase in the first half of the year–; however, it offers greater potential for various products such as coffee and mangoes, said Gabriel Arrieta Padilla, head of Economic Studies and Trade Intelligence at the CIEN-ADEX Exporters Association. During his participation in the forum 'Promotion of Bilateral Relations and Use of Trade Agreements: FTA between the United Kingdom and the Andean Countries'', organized by the union, the British Embassy in Lima and the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos ( UNMSM), pointed out that, although agribusiness is very promising, other activities such as clothing and non-metallic mining have more opportunities.
