Agricultural Technology Commercialization Foundation,'Restart' for feed safety component inspection

The Agricultural Technology Commercialization Foundation announced that it will resume analysis services for aflatoxin and okratoxin A among mycotoxins in the feed field, which were temporarily suspended after the relocation of the Iksan office, on September 1, 2020. Mycotoxin is a secondary metabolite produced by fungi, and is highly toxic, and occurs a lot in agricultural products and grains rich in carbohydrates such as rice and peanuts. It causes physiological and pathological disorders for living things such as humans, livestock, and fish. Types include aflatoxin, fumonicin, okratoxin A, geralenone, deoxynivalenol, and the like.
