Brazil's agricultural exports in October 2021 saw a 10% increase from the previous year, totaling US$ 8.8 billion, as per the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA). From January to October 2021, total foreign sales reached a record US$ 102.4 billion, marking a 19.5% increase compared to the same period in 2020. Soy beans were the top exported product, followed by raw sugar, crude soy oil, soy in grains, fresh chicken meat, and paper. The main destinations for these exports were China, the European Union, the United States, Japan, Vietnam, Chile, Iran, Thailand, South Korea, and India. There was also a notable increase in exports of tea, mate, spices, bee products, and fish in October 2021 compared to the same month in 2020.
