The Central Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives is taking steps to ensure stability during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday by supplying government-reserved aquatic products to the market at up to half the price offline and offering discounts of up to 60% on major high-season items online. President Noh Dong-jin of the Central Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives visited the Noryangjin Fisheries Market in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, a supplier of government-reserved aquatic products, on the 10th, held discussions with merchants, and checked the distribution status of aquatic products. The Central Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives supplied over 13,000 tons of government-reserved aquatic products, including mackerel and pollock, 2,000 tons more than last year's Lunar New Year, at prices up to 50% lower than market prices to traditional markets, supermarkets, and wholesale markets. President Noh discussed government reserves and other matters on this day.
