"This year, a set of products for a classic butter cake will cost buyers 9% less than a year earlier," the report states. Thus, as of the beginning of April 2026, the cost of ingredients for preparing a cake according to a classic recipe, calculated for 6 servings in federal retail, has decreased to 148 rubles, AKORT said. The set of ingredients for a vegetable oil cake has also become cheaper - by 4%, to 48 rubles for a 300-gram cake. The recipe includes milk (125 ml), pressed yeast (15 g), granulated sugar (90 g), chicken eggs (2 pcs.), salt (1.5 g), vegetable oil (70 g), and wheat flour (350 g).
