The Korean government has increased its subsidy to the Korean beef fund by 23 billion won, raising it to 32.2 billion won. This move aims to stabilize the supply and demand of Korean beef. The total budget for the fund for this year has been adjusted to 62.54768 billion won, marking a 58.8% increase from the previous year. The additional funding will be used for discount sales events, an online Korean beef marketplace, export support, and cattle breeding. The subsidy for distributors has also been increased, encouraging more large-scale discount sales of Korean beef.
