Almonds: new almost general price increases

The poor forecasts for American almond production have helped to achieve price increases. The latest estimates are close to 2.7 billion pounds, approximately 100 million pounds less than the objective estimate of the NASS, belonging to the USDA, of 2.8 billion pounds. This results in a lower total supply, 1.5% less compared to last year. This situation puts upward pressure on prices in the national market. In the national market, the Lonja de Albacete noted a general increase of 5 cents, with prices between 4.70 euros for the Comuna and 5.70 euros per kilo of Marcona grain.
