Almost 10 million tons of sunflower seeds were harvested in Ukraine

According to experts from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, by November 18, local farmers had already harvested about 16.6 million tons of main oilseeds (sunflower, soybeans, rapeseed). This was reported in the press service of the department. The gross harvest of sunflower as of the reporting date is 9.8 million tons with a yield of 21.7 c/ha. Oilseed has already been removed from an area of 4.5 million hectares (96% of the plan). At the same time, in Vinnitsa, Volyn, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi regions, seed harvesting has already been completed.
