In a context of redefining global export strategies, Morocco emerges as a key partner for Chile. This is also confirmed by the figures, as the commercial exchange between Chile and Morocco has expanded at an average annual rate of 9.7% since 2003, rising from operations worth US$ 10.4 million to US$ 80.2 million in 2025 (SUBREI data). Although 77% of these shipments correspond to food, fresh Chilean fruits do not have access to the Moroccan market, which, in addition to evidencing the enormous potential for growth in that market and within African countries (large food importers), also shows issues that need to be addressed and resolved.
