Moscow. April 10. INTERFAX.RU - The growth rates compared to February slowed down. In February, they were 0.8% and 1.6%, respectively, and in January, they were 1.8% and 3%. Since the beginning of the year, prices for food products have risen by 2.9% (for alcohol by 5.5%), and on a yearly basis, by 4.3% (by 10.7%). The highest growth rates (excluding fruit and vegetable products) in March were for eggs, which increased by 10.3%. The growth accelerated from 9.3% in February. Since the beginning of the year, eggs have become more expensive by 21.9%, compared to March 2025 by 3.1%. In the meat market, beef increased the most by 1.8%. Prices for poultry liver rose by 0.9%, beef and pork liver by 0.8%, lamb and turkey meat by 0.7%. At the same time, prices for chicken meat decreased by 2%, boneless pork by 0.7%, chicken drumsticks by 0.5%. Frozen unprocessed fish increased by 1.2%, frozen processed fish by 0.6%, frozen squid, live and chilled fish by 1%, canned fish in oil by 0.8%. ...
