A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture of Egypt discussed with American businessmen the possibility of increasing the export of medicinal and aromatic plants to the US, given that the US is the second-largest importer of these products from Egypt. The discussions covered marketing strategies, export conditions, and pricing. The agricultural services sector of the Ministry conducted field visits to inspect the quality of the plants in Fayoum Governorate. The article also highlights that over 90% of Egypt's production of medicinal and aromatic plants is exported, primarily to 40 international markets, with France being the largest market. The Ministry is working towards improving and expanding these exports by improving the quality of the plants and increasing the cultivated area.
