An American delegation arrives in Cairo, Egypt, to expand the import of medicinal and aromatic plants

The Ministry of Agriculture discussed increasing exports of medicinal and aromatic plants to the American market during the visit of a delegation of American businessmen to Egypt a few days ago, especially with America occupying the second place in importing Egyptian medicinal and aromatic products. It is noteworthy that the value of agricultural exports of medicinal and aromatic plants exceeded 117 million dollars annually, amounting to more than one billion and 800 million pounds. A report issued by the Ministry of Agriculture represented by the agricultural services sector confirmed that field visits were organized for the delegation in Fayoum Governorate, to inspect farms, factories and packing stations to determine the extent to which the products adhere to the best international standards.
