In the first quarter of 2024, the Andalusian Autonomous Community in Spain played a pivotal role in the country's agricultural exports, contributing significantly to the global market share of fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, cucumbers, avocados, and eggplants. The region saw impressive growth in the export values of these fruits, with strawberries reaching 80% of Spain's total strawberry exports, raspberries at nearly 85%, and blueberries at 74%. Cucumbers, avocados, and eggplants also dominated their respective export markets, accounting for over 80% of Spain's exports of these vegetables. This performance underscores Andalusia's importance as a key player in the global agricultural market.
