Another vegetable "couldn't withstand" and started to rise in price: how much does a kilogram already cost?

Since the beginning of this week, carrots on the Ukrainian market have already increased in price by an average of 12%. Producers have set wholesale prices for their products at 7-13 UAH/kg. According to analysts from the EastFruit project, the cost of the vegetable has not increased since the beginning of autumn. But now the demand for carrots has noticeably grown, so sellers have suspended the sale of high-quality vegetables in anticipation of even greater price increases, which, in turn, limits the supply on the market. It should be noted that so far the prices for carrots in Ukraine are on average 54% cheaper than in the same period last year. Moreover, analysts do not exclude that the price increase trend may be a temporary phenomenon. When the cost of the vegetable rises a little more, producers will start selling accumulated stocks, and the supply-demand ratio will shift in the other direction.
