The National Agri-Food Health and Quality Service (Senasa) of Argentina has inspected and certified exports of fresh fruits and vegetables from the northern Patagonian region, including Río Negro and Neuquén provinces, totaling 188,186 tons in the first four months of the year. The majority of these exports, including pears, apples, onions, plums, peaches, cherries, nectarines, and pelons, were certified from the Port of San Antonio Este and various phytosanitary reserves and inspection sites. These exports are part of export programs with over 50 countries, with 90% going to Brazil, Russia, the United States, Paraguay, Bolivia, Mexico, Italy, Peru, Canada, and Ecuador.
