Hungary: Asparagus and herb plantations can be applied for plantation and medicinal plant production

In the compilation now published, the experts highlighted practical information such as that only controlled propagating material may be used for the planting of asparagus and the variety to be planted must be included in the National Variety List or in the catalog of a Member State of the European Union. Aid may be granted for the establishment of plantations of a specified number or row of plants for herbs. Furthermore, a very small proportion of herbs are only covered by the Vegetables Regulation.
