The Regional Irrigation and Integrated Rural Development Program (Prider) put into operation the "Improvement of the Almapampa, Pucaccasa, Purupuruchayocc, and Tastacha Sectors" tecnified irrigation system, located in the town of Sachabamba, district of Chiara, province of Huamanga, Ayacucho region. The work includes the construction of a reservoir with a storage capacity of 700 m³ of water, as well as the maintenance and improvement of a reservoir of 2000 m³. It also includes the implementation of almost a kilometer of an open conduction channel, 21 kilometers of pipe conduction channels, and the installation of 154 hydrants. Thanks to these improvements, the system will provide water through sprinkler irrigation to a total of 83 hectares of crops, directly benefiting more than 150 farming families in the community.
