Biodiesel plants adjust prices below the increase in diesel and the discount on renewable energy rises

The plants have not only sustained the discounts that biodiesel has been offering on fossil diesel over the past four weeks; they have expanded them. In the 14th week (14S) of the year – the period between March 30 and April 4 – biodiesel cost 6.1% less than the petroleum derivative. In total, each cubic meter of pure biodiesel is costing R$ 336.69 less for distributors than diesel A.
