The plants have not only sustained the discounts that biodiesel has been offering on fossil diesel over the past four weeks; they have expanded them. In the 14th week (14S) of the year – the period between March 30 and April 4 – biodiesel cost 6.1% less than the petroleum derivative. In total, each cubic meter of pure biodiesel is costing R$ 336.69 less for distributors than diesel A.
