All fruit and vegetable consumption indicators increased in August. The biggest increase in the declaration of consumption compared to last month concerned blueberries (by 13 pp). Blackcurrant - 56% and 2.9 million, and blueberry - 18%, i.e. 2.6 million new consumers - are the growth leader over two years. In August, Borówka brought more than 17.2 million consumers. Blueberry grows at the rate of 8%. This result has been repeated regularly since the beginning of the research, i.e. from December 2019. the increase in the declaration of consumption, in relation to July, amounted to 13 pp. This is the highest increase among the 21 species studied, both fruit and vegetables. The largest increase in the number of consumers "August to August" was recorded by blackberries - by 22%, or 1.3 million people, and chokeberry - by 13%, or 0.6 million people.
