Farmers in the district have experienced success with early cauliflower cultivation, resulting in high yields and fair market prices. They are selling each maund (40kg) for Tk 1,600 to 1,800, covering their production costs of Tk 400 to 500. The district's farmers, including women, are actively involved in the cultivation, aided by modern farming technologies. The Department of Agricultural Extension is optimistic and plans to expand the crop among more farmers next year. Currently, each kg of fresh cauliflower is selling for Tk 40 to 50 in retail markets and Tk 35 to 40 in wholesale markets.
