Brazilian farmers in the center- south region have harvested 34% of their second corn crop for the 2024 cycle, marking the fastest start in over a decade, with the fastest being last week, according to AgRural. This is a 13% increase from the previous week and double the rate from a year ago, largely driven by the states of Mato Grosso and Parana. The season's total production is projected to reach 88.12 million metric tons, which is about 75% of the country’s annual output, according to the crop agency Conab.
